Original Poem: Stillness

Updated: Jan 1

The air is filled with a calming stillness

that can only be found in this season

It doesn't make a sound, such a beauty to witness

Sit quietly my dear, there is inner work to be done

Jack Frost gently kissed the earth

with ice that sparkles in the light

Now, Mother Gaia waits for rebirth

when spring sets her free from winters night

It's time to reflect on our lives this past year

& set good intentions, with love in our hearts

It's time to slow down so that we may hear

what the stillness has to offer, before it departs

xoxo
